Welcome to University Christian Children’s Center!

Welcome to the 2011-12 School Year at University Christian Children’s Center! We are beginning our 21st year of preschool activity! It promises to be a busy one as we work towards National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) reaccreditation.

The Children’s Center first received NAEYC accreditation in 1997 and has maintained its high standards ever since. Teachers create an environment based on DAP (Developmentally Appropriate Practices) where your child will excel to the highest level of his ability. Collaboration between home and school allows us to share the common goal of wanting only the best for your child. Remember, as a parent and caregiver in this school, you are allowed to enter your child’s classroom anytime.

We reached our 4-STAR rating with Quality Counts, an Early Learning Coalition rating system for all voluntarily participating childcare centers in Miami-Dade County. Involvement with Quality Counts over the past 3 years has really helped us to grow and improve environment, curriculum, staff education and career goals, and health and safety.
